how to create website for publishing

hi i can create the webpages in asp.net using visualstudio. .but if i want to publish that website then i dont know what process should i follow in asp.net using vs2008 nd sql server. .

 

you need to upload the files to a server

 

You need to build website and upload to your host supports asp.net

 

in VS under Build menu there is option for publish

click this option it will ask you ftp info for you server
enter ftp information

website will compile and will be uploaded to your web server

 

To publish your work is very simple.
1) First you find a good hosting provider(There are lot of hosting providers. Check their price and select appropriate one)
2) Select your web server plan as Windows Server With Sql Database
3) Hosting provider will give FTP or CPanel Details.
4) You can upload database and files to server using FTP.
Your web site is ready.

to publish website
right click on solution explorer in vs then click publish website set target location then OK

 

simple you do
upload by FTP then you easily upload your webpage on website.
