    If you're going to use the tracker for copyrighted media, then I would stay out of the torrent business. A lot of these trackers are getting shut down, and it's not all that easy to promote a tracker site to the level of which it can compete with the popular ones.

    1. Install a free tracker script to your server (dedicated or VPS where there are less restrictions)

    2. Advertise

    3. Rake in the money from ads you sell

    4. Wait for site to get site shut down and go to prison

    I can't believe someone would actually want to starts a torrent site at this point.

    These fellas are getting thrown in the slammer left and right.

    Maybe folks just want to see their name in the paper..

    First thing to do is get good reliable hosting that allows trackers.

    lol just stay away from these kinds of sites, there are plenty of things to do that aren't as risky.

    * Make sure you live in a country with little or no copyright laws
    * Set up a tracker
    * Profit

    Well we are thinking and maybe I should say assuming the user wants to develop and illegal tracker site but we do have some chances the user would like to use torrent for professional reason like large file sharing gaming sites. When these gaming sites release beta games you normally download from a tracker script unless you have a paid subscription account.

    What we have to do is stop assuming this is that the user will develop an illegal site and start supporting the question like we do all other questions here at digital point right?

    machine here in our country doesn't recognize internet activities
    so no copyright laws enforced

    but I think there is a legal torrent activity by other side
    am I right?
