There is a plugin called XML sitemap. Download that. Search google for "Wordpress for Wordpress" or better yet download http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/
Just visit: www.xml-sitemaps.com and generate a free online sitemap for your site following the instructions mentioned on that site. You just have to enter your site URL, leave rest as it is.. It's that simple
I don't think it matters whether it is a blog or a regular site for creating a sitemap. any xml sitemap generator should do the job for you.
you must use a automatic sitemap generator. it must be dynamic for example (mine) : pcturk.org /sitemap.xml it is a dynamic sitemap. if i add a page, it updates automatically
