One more question. What is the function of sitemap? What is the benefit of it? What can I do with it to improve my blog? Thank you. :)

When I try to submit my sitemap to Google Webmaster Tool, I received the following error.

    Paths don't match
We've detected that you submitted your Sitemap using a URL path that includes the www prefix (for instance, http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml). However, the URLs listed inside your Sitemap don't use the www prefix (for instance, http://example.com/myfile.htm).

    Can anyone help me please?

It tells search engines like google what pages your site has. Its then easier for them to index your pages :)

There are 2 types of sitemaps.

html sitemap - This is a normal page that you can use to add internal links using anchor text to shape how the search engines view the content of your site's pages. I like to use my sitemap.html page as an error 404 page also so visitors can quickly find a page they are looking for.
xml sitemap - This type of sitemap is usually uploaded to domain.com/sitemap.xml and is for the consumption of the serp bots and not your visitors. Using a sitemap.xml you can insure that all of your pages are indexed by the search engines, tell them the priority of each page in your site, and provide the frequency that a page in your site is updated and should be revisited by the serp bots.

    Hope this helps...

Go to your blog settings -> General. Change the URL of Blog directory and another field containing URL to include www. F.e if ur site is example.com and if the settings has as http://example.com. change it to http://www.example.com

    Rebuild the sitemap

submit it again to google and let me know if it works.

Google XML Sitemaps plugin will create sitemap whenever you create a new post and will submit it to google, bing, ask and yahoo. However, if you have big site and you use shared hosting you need to manually build the sitemap using other tools and submit it manually as it will take more cpu resource
