How to create separate sitemap for each language, using WPML and Yoast Seo ?

How to create one sitemap XML per language ?

I am using the CMS WordPress, the plugin WPML and Yoast SEO.

I have created one subfolder per language:

    https://www.swissmedflight.com
    https://www.swissmedflight.com/en/
    https://www.swissmedflight.com/fr-fr/
    https://www.swissmedflight.com/fr-lu/
    https://www.swissmedflight.com/fr-be/

The problem is that when I generate a sitemap XML with Yoast, all languages are mixed up. Plus, the subfolders /fr-fr/%category/%post/, /fr-lu/%category/%post/, /fr-be/%category/%post/ aren't showing on my sitemap. I guess because there's rel canonical tags in the headers.

First question: If I one to geo-target each subfolder to a specific region, should I need to have multiple sitemap ? I was able to to register each domain name in GWT.

Second question: How to create a specific sitemap for each language ? I try to look everywhere on the internet and on WPML forum and it looks there's no clear solution for this problem. The only thing they suggest is to create a subdomain. This last solution is not the best because I want to benefit from my SEO that I already have with my root domain.

Thank you in advance for your help !
