    well first of all collect all data that you have worked and make an excel sheet with the name of project and after that write current date.
    now make some headings and post your working data here and save that all in your PC or Flash Drive and send it to your client throughout mail or whatever you want.

    You can make Google docs and share those between you and your client, simply update all your tasks / work there and client can also watch that.

    If you want a rankings report (how particular keywords rank in Google over time), do this:

    1. go to serprankings.com, sign up
    2. add a domain (website name) and the keywords of interest
    3. serprankings.com will check their ranking every day and prepare charts and rankings tables automatically
    4. create a link to the rankings view and send it to the client.
    Client will be able to see the rankings without logging in.
