how to create online games using php

i want to create games using php.... if you have any idea about this topic please send me your replies...

 

What kind of games are you looking to create? PHP is not the best for creating interactive-type games. It can power the back end of a game for sure (keeping track of users, scoring, etc.), but usually you'll want something "flashier" (like flash? or similar) on the front end.

If (related to your other post) you're looking to program a game as part of learning PHP, then you could do simple games like say hangman, tic-tac-toe, the classic "number guessing" game, or a lotto-type game (you "bet" 1 point or whatever and pick a few numbers and win based on if you match the random number the computer chooses--you'd have to keep track of the "points" won and lost), and I'm sure there's others you could do.

I like to train my skills by making board games (ie. chess, go), but it requires pretty good knowledge of JavaScript too.

 

Might want to head over to sourceforge and take a look at what's already been done.
