Go to Blogger Dashboard -> Layout -> Edit HTML and paste following tags in between < html > and < /html >

< meta name='Description' content='Insert description of your blog here, it should be 150 characters long'/>
< meta name='Keywords' content='Kewords that describe your blog Niche separated by comma, within 874 characters'/>
< meta name='Author' content='Your name or Blogger name'/>

It is useful sometimes. Other meta tags esp. meta keywords tags are not important in your seo.
