How to create logo icon?

i found many sites uses logo icons in browser address bar like DP, blogger etc.
How can i use them for my sites?

you can use any GIF, PNG or any format read by modern browsers in most modern browsers - there is no need to use the archaic and deprecated format ICO any more.

In fact, GIF animations are more often than not also supported, although annoying. The caution with animated Favicons is that animations are used in browser tabs to identify a page that is still currently loading - if you animation resembles this 'loading' animation when seen out of the corner of the user's eye, they may never click on the tab to view the site, assuming it's still having trouble loading. I know this has happened to me a few times.
