    Hi everyone,

I have a Philadelphia locksmith service and I'm trying to promote it on the search engines. I currently am trying to build one way links to my site. The thing is that the only relevant websites I can think of asking to link to my website are other locksmiths. I can't imagine why another locksmith would want to link to my site since it would be a conflict of interest on their part. I know I wouldn't want to have a link to another locksmith site. If anyone has any suggestions please drop me a line.

    Thanks.

Well, you could exchange links with a locksmith website in say Miami:) This would build a good link, as the content of his site would be about "locksmiths".

Also, never forget that google values a website linking TO a site with related content.

Go to the manufacturers, your clients, their suppliers and business associates, and so forth. Don't forget your local chamber of commerce (if you have one) business networking organizations (like BNI) as well as locksmith service review sites. You can also target locking mechanism publications within the industry as well - many of them probably have Web sites.

write or hire someone to write a few articles related to your business , ex...an article on number of break ins in the philadelphia area this past year, find a way to add your url in there and submit your articles to sites like ezinearticles and so on..if you got to a place like scriptlance.com you can hire a writer and have this done for you, they will even submit your articles ..

I have found that if you make local business directory profiles it can really help in the rankings.
