How to create flash banner from video fragment?

    I need to create a flash banner, similar to "adult chat" when you see a girl sitting and typing something. First you need to have a video of it, correct? Then how do you make a banner out of it? what software do you use?

    you can cut a portion of the video as frames with virtualdub then import them to imageready and make your banner there then export the banner to swf

    I'd probably go for an animated gif, a series of frames from a video followed by your message?
