If you have a good banner ad or classified ad they are more effective if they are a clickable. In other words when some one rolls over the ad and they click on it for it to go to your website. Here is how you can make every banner or ad clickable: 1) upload the banner or ad to the web - (if you don't know how to do this - it is another lesson - I may post at another time) 2) enter this is code into the posting of your banner or ad - <a href="bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb"> <img border="0" img src="ccccccccccccccccccc"></a> 3) replace the "b's" in the above code with the web address of the site you want people to go to when they click on the ad. It needs to be the http://www.domain name 4) replace the "c's" in the above code with the web location of the banner or ad. This will be the address you uploaded to in step one. This needs to be the http://www.domain name/name of banner or ad with the appropriate file type like .jpg Thats it. Now all your ads and banners will be clickable.
Great post! I have been using clickable ads on craigslist for sometime now and have seen some decent results.
