I am wondering what is the best optino when putting anchor links on other sites.

    a)
    test1, test2,test3
    b)
    test1, test2,test3
    c)
    test1,test2,test3

And second question: Is anything wrong if I put everytime the same 3 keywords just in different order for each link. So one link is test, test3, test2 another test3, test, test2, etc. Or would be better to choose some other keywords if I have more than 10 pages linking to my page.

    Tnx!

I have been researching and studying backlinking and SEO for over a year and found that doing more than one link on a site will decrease the value of the link for link juice and rankings...its better to just do one per site..trust me you dont want to be wasting time building links that dont do much..when you could be doing less and getting more link juice and better rankings.

so it is better to get 2 links (1 with 2 keywords and 1 with 1 keyword) than 2 links and putting all 3 keywords in each?

I hope you mean one per "web-page" and not "actual site", the value is diluted when they links point to the same "web-page", not the actual site.

I think third option is good. you should link to three keywords on single link page.

You should be linking the keyword/s that you are targeting. Longer keyword terms are easier to rank for.

For example if you were targeting widgets then your keyword would be widgets.

But widgets may have 1 million sites in competition.

In that case you may be better off targeting "buy blue widgets" and using that as your anchor text. But you don't want to have "buy" "blue" "widgets" as separate links. You want them all as one.

You should also vary your keywords a little for other long chain keywords that are similar.

The anchor keyword should be the targets, related to the site ( domain name doesnt matter). So select the best and related keyword

None of those options are all that good really. Good strong anchor text comes from a small but well formed sentence with the link making up the key phrase.

For example, Click Here for web design services = poor
Please click here to see more about our web design services in Manchester = stong

Having a link wrapped in text is much more powerful as it then looks more like it is part of the page content.
