How to create an SEO tool for your website

    Can anyone point me in the right direction, i would like to start to learn how to create an seo tool for my site? something like a link popularity checker. i assume you have to use an API but i don't have the slightest idea how to use it?

    you should start your learning by accessing google and yahoo API pages that provide some more information what can be automated using API interface.
