I agree. It is also crucial to concentrate on enhancing the readability of the content. This can be done by adding relevant images, infographic and videos to the content.
Go to any store that sells magazines, find magazines in your niche and browse the headlines. Write them down or buy the magazine This is just a start, there are hundreds of places to find useable headlines. Another thing to do would be to go to Clickbank, JVzoo, warriorplus, or any other affiliate network that specializes in digital products and look through the sales pages. You can use this to create your own swipe files. al
you should be implementing the 7 sins that's referenced in the bible. Lust, Envy, Sloth, etc.. Especially Envy. People want to be envied. If you post a title like "Learn how to lose weight to fit into your dress for your wedding day!". This sounds OK but if you put some envy on it it will convert better --->"How To Lose 30 pounds in less than 30 days and Finally Fit Into Your Skinny Jeans & Outshine The Bride When You Are The Brides Maid on Her Wedding Day."...ENVY. Not really, I think the most effective would be the video thumbnail. It is the image or the video frame that is displayed before you hit the play button.
True talk @benedictator but if your title is not attractive nobody will click on your link to check out what you have in offer. I think they both go hand-in-hand, having a catchy title but poor content will lead you to no traffic or sales and vice verse.
Al Tilman I think that is one of the factor in there. mbanj you are right title and thumbnail go hand in hand in video marketing.
Let your title be compelling and draw attention as well. Include power words when creating your titles.
Using swipe files from great copywriters is a good idea, but a better idea is to pay attention to what is getting shared WILDLY in your market. What do you see people sharing on Facebook and getting re-shared thousands of times? What is the title? How is it presented? I also suggest subscribing to email lists for the leaders in your market and keeping all of their emails, and watch their blog posts carefully. They became leader because of their ability to communicate to YOUR market. They know how to write the headlines YOU need. If you learn what they are doing, you can adopt a similar style and have a higher chance of getting similar results.
its true. Pull up any search result on google and just go down all the results and write down the ones that stand out to you. The ones that you would click on. Do this about 5 or 10 times and you will start to see patterns in what you would click on. Certain styles, certain buzz words that make them more interesting to you.
