In my Contacts there are around 17 thousands Emails in just one and half year. I didn't more work for this. Just search in google. If you are a webmaster and you are looking a list of webmaster then just search for "webmaster link exchange + gmail.com" like this. You will find so many URL where you can get a hues no of contacts. Enjoy
If you want email list to promote your business you should contact companies which offer services of this type and your social networking page can also help you
There is quite a good site which offers both a paid and free email service with up to five domain names. It's a great way to build a list for free, but you will have to manually send offers out as opposed to an paid autoresponder which can do it automatically and personalise each message. You could write down all the email addresses in a plain-text editor and save them. Or you could write them down on a piece of paper. Your question is a bit vague. What, exactly, are you trying to do? How many recipients do you have? How many emails do you plan to send out in a month? Is the list an opt-in service that users subscribe to? There are some free services available for electronic newsletters, if that is what you want. For example, MailChimp is free for up to 2000 subscribers (mailchimp.com). It is an opt-in service: each user must sign up for it individually and confirm their subscription to get on the email list.
Difficult without paying a cent, generally it's not hugely expensive to have a monthly subscription though. Check out Aweber they have the first month for $1 and see how it goes, if you don't like it then cancel after that. Good to test it out and see what you think of the service.
Use the plugin called WP emain capture by rhyswynne. This plugin creates a two-field form for capturing emails (Name & Email). Email is double opt in, and allows you to forward opt in to services such as ebooks or software. When you are ready to begin your email marketing campaign, simply export the list into your chosen email marketing software or service. Once you are ready, we recommend either using Aweber or Mailchimp because these two are simply the best.
You can encourage your visitors to subscribe. Prepare some interesting course or make tutorials. If you want something for free you need to invest your time in it.
Create a squeeze page by offering something free or cheap to build your contacts. Ebooks work well with this strategy.
Create a blog, Squeeze, hub then start giving out free ebooks. its the best free way to get a list. but it will not be a very long list for sure.
Theres several approaches, but one of them is offering a free ebook like someone mentioned earlier, to exchange for that email.
What's the preferred choice of software to use for building e-mail lists. Aweber or Get Response perhaps?
