How to Create AdSense Code for Someone Else?

The new process of managing AdSense blocks from within the Google AdSense site has made editing more difficult. I can no longer change a color by just editing the source, but have to log into AdSense. That I can live with, but any idea how to sort this one?

Previously, I could create a block and just change the publisher id. Now, when I insert a different publisher id, the ads disappear. I suppose that means the block has to be managed from the same account as the publisher id that's used.

How can I create code for someone else now? Do I need their login details to do that? Does that mean I cannot create a revenue sharing site without AdSense API anymore?

I mentioned one example in the first post: revenue sharing. Another example is creating a web site for a client that needs AdSense integration. I'm sure you can come up with other reasons.
