How to create a xml sitemap for a site having 6000 pages

    Hi
    i am having a issue i want to know that how can i generate a xml sitemap for a website having 6000 html pages. is there any online free tool that can do this?

    If you just need it for a one-off job, you could try A1 Sitemap Generator (it has a fully functional 30 days trial), but it's a desktop tool. You requirement it being an online tool really narrows down your options. I don't know any free online tool that can handle 6000 URLs. I think you will need to get a desktop tool (either 100% free or free-to-try-30-days)

    I'd check out xml-sitemaps.com, they have a free package that would meet your needs.

    I am using Xenu link sleuth. This is a tool you can download and I use it mainly to check the links on my site and it also creates very big sitemaps.

    No, the free service from xml-sitemaps.com only works for sites with up to 500 pages, and OP said his site has 6,000 pages.

    I'll put another vote for SiteMap Writer Pro. I was able to index 3M pages before I ran out of memory on my desktop. Database created sitemaps will always be the quickest though. Did 19.9M urls in 46 minutes or something like that.

    It works on dynamic sites too, even python. No need to install, just download and run.
