How To Create A Solid Relationship & Response With Your List!

    WARNING : This is a long post....but if you read it its gunna guarentee you make money...so sip your warm cup of coffee and kick your feet back and learn some really cool stuff.

    Here is the model I used to set up a really good relationship with clients.

    it is all about having a plan from the start. And having a good relationship with them that is going to make you win in the end.

    Step 1: Building a hyper responsive list.

    your Lead Capture Page :-

    You've heard it a million times and I am going to say it again... The money is in the list!

    Here is how the average broke affiliate is running their business... they have 'free ad' fever. They sign up for every imaginable traffic exchange program to get hits to their site and then complain when they don't make any sales. They sign up for every free ad blaster they can get their hands on... post free classifieds and post on message boards spending hundreds of hours on the business with nothing but frustration to show for it at the end.

    Does this sound like your marketing strategy... to call it a strategy is a reach. It's more like hit and miss chaos.

    After tons of work promoting their affiliate links the free and easy ways they may end up with 1 or 2 commissions for the entire month!

    ONE or TWO sales after all that work... it's outrageous! 20 to 40 hours a week articles and posts on forums... just to get a couple sales. Can you believe that this is exactly what many many marketers are doing?

    You may even be one of them. Now, here is my point. What do you have to show for yourself at the end of 3 months following this'free ad' strategy and sending traffic directly to an affiliate link? 1 or 2 sales... maybe. Hundreds of hours of surfing and wasted time trying to “figure it out.”

    By following what I am about to teach you... you will be able to take three months of results doing things the HARD way and turn those results into DAILY results by committing a mere fraction of the time - utilizing simple proven internet marketing strategies. YES, three months of slave like labor will be achieved in a single day by just following this simple blueprint. And here is the strategy that will make it all possible... I promise you that this will work if you spend time 100% guarenteed.

    start marketing YOUR OWN lead capture page. its easy. Do this by subscribing to your own email list management system/autoresponder (AWEBER or another) to assist in automating your email marketing. Plus you will need your own personalized lead capture page. A simple page that you can use as your front line of attack for every ad you run.

    I use Microsoft FrontPage (there are other better ones out there) to design my websites and also utilize Marketing Makeover Generator. You can design your own, use a turnkey solution or hire someone to design one for you (elance.com). You will need two primary components to get your first capture page created.

    #1 Your design specs and ad copy and

    #2 Your autoresponder service The autoresponder service will integrate into the website and allow your prospects to enter their nameand email address on the website and this information will automatically go into your own database.

    The only job of your capture page is to collect name and email. Nothing else! We want to start building our list FIRST. Once we have this control of the contact info we will begin systematically showing them the rest of ourmarketing process... which will include sharing our personal story, giving them valuable information and showing them your primary affiliate offers.

    Be sure to test what headlines and copy worksbest with built in tracking and feedback gathering. IT can increase optins by 200-500%

    You will then want to integrate this system with a quality autoresponder/email database managementservice like Aweber to ensure that the maximum amount of your emails are delivered and bust through the spam filters. I have used them for years and believe they are the best solution in the marketplacetoday.

    We want a service that will get the maximum amount of emails delivered by getting through allthe spam filters that are keeping legit marketers from getting through.

    These two components will be the foundation of all your marketing efforts from here on out!Do you already have a capture page that you are using to build your own list? Here are 4 things you can do to immediately increase the amount of people that opt in and join yourlist.

    #1. Add immediate audio. I dont do this but I have heard is still works ok. Make an audio recording over the web and have it stream immediately upona visitor coming to your site. You can do a brief welcome and overview of the benefits of joining your list. Then 'tell them” to put their name and email address in the boxes and hit the submit button. I use acompany called www.byoaudio.com They make it extremely easy to add audio to any web page!

    #2. Have a bold headline that creates an emotional response. Put the same amount of effort intocreating a good headline for your capture page as you would if you were selling a $1,000 product!

    #3. Use the words “instant access” throughout your copy and on the submit button itself. This wording is proven to out perform anything else you could say to entice people to click the submit button.

    #4. Make sure your opt in box is “above the fold”... this simply means – make sure that the opt in form and submit button are visible immediately upon visiting the site so the visitor doesn't have to scrolldown to see it.

    If you want to have more content on the page, you can add another opt in form at the bottom.Just remember. The sole purpose of a lead capture page is to get someone to opt into your list and that's it! Don't have links to other sites or anything that may distract from your goal of getting the sign up! Again, surf the net and study the capture pages of other successful marketers!

    Building The Relationship :-


    NOW THIS IS EXTREMLY IMPORTANT SO LISTEN UP AND LISTEN UP GOOD!

    It is so critical that once you have captured a lead for your business that you now build rapport andcredibility with them.

    Immediately, I recommend that you give them an excesive amount of value for subscribing. Make sure whatever free content you give them as a thank you for subscribing is relevantand valuable information they can put to use immediately.

    There are a lot of things that are easy to aquire that have a high perceived value. To entice people to opt into my personal sites I like to giveaway a free .pdf report. Since most .pdf reports are something you would have to pay for... this has ahigh percieved value.

    You can give away audio recordings, reports and even videos because they seems to work better in this instance. Just be yourself and provide value. People love to find out what sort of character you are...even if you are someone like jason moffat, surfie dude or the straight businessman type...people love your character and unique people..so make that special characteristic about you come accross in you writing.

    Lot's of marketers create material you can use for free. Subscribe to other peoples lists to get the bonuses and see if there is something you can use to give away to your own list.

    Make sure you have permission first or it clearly states that it can be given away as a free bonus. Something that has also worked very well for me is putting together mini-courses. This is simply aseries of emails on a specific topic. Fore example... Subscribe Today And get Instant Access To The “7 Day Internet Marketing Makeover Mini-Course.” Then, over the course of 7 days, I will provide valuable information the subscriber can use to improvetheir business.

    Now, don't feel like you have to create a huge campaign of emails to be delivered before you start marketing your capture page... Start marketing today! You can then create a new message each day and then add it to the autoresponder sequence.

    I have some campaigns with over a years worth of messages pre-loaded. But I built this up over a years time. BUT initially you want to start off small with messages over a few days to two weeks. If I would have set out to create my campaigns upfront I probably never would have gotten started because of how daunting it would have felt to feel likeI had to write a years worth of messages, first!Take it piece by piece, bite by bite.

    The most successful newsletters are very 'personal.'Facts TELL, Stories SELL. Don't be afraid to mix your personal life into your communications with your list. Just make sure when you do, you are making a point that relates to your subscribers own business.

    I recently received a very long email from a marketer I respect that talked about how burned out and overworked he was feeling... he provided a lot of detail and told a good story. In the end he wrapped up by recommending a new software product he had discovered that helps with time management and creating more energy so you can be more productive while working.

    I instantly signed up for the software product so I could experience more energy in my own day to day activities. This concept is powerful! What not to do... If your dog dies. Don't send out an announcement to your list. Nobody cares.

    They only care what's in it for themselves. If you can't apply your personal story to a business concept that will assist your subscribers... leave it out!

    If you experience a great success in your own business... share how you did it, what results you achieved and then provide a resource the readers can plug into if they want similar results. Stories SELL!Be creative with your communications.

    Make sure to hit your readers with all 4 communication techniques.

    - Written
    - Audio
    - Video
    - Pictures

    The more you reach your list with all of these methods, the more they are going to grow to know you trust you and appreciate you.

    Most people are too lazy to make a video or record an audio or send out personal pictures... this however is exactly what will help you stand out from the crowd and bring you more money than 95% of all the other marketers out there! I recommend offering a wide range of products for your subscribers to buy.

    Your list to become comfortable spending money with you. If they buy something for 10 dollars first, they are much more likely to spend $100 later on than if you never made that initial sale.

    It all depends on your niche and each one has different parameters... Some niches I have marketed to and made a a few thousand in sales without ever selling them something on the front end. Although rare, it does happen. If anything, this speaks to the power of email marketing and cultivating a list. There is power in your email follow ups...so in summary make sure you utilizing this and not waisting a precious resource like this.
