I have a nice website and I think of either writing a book or making a video tape, then selling it through my website. The content will obviously relate to the theme of website. Im wondering whats the easiest shopping cart software i can use? Also, how much should I charge for a book or video? Any tips on how to monetize on this idea?
I agree with sji2671, if you don't mind using paypal, just use their shopping cart and buttons. You can actually do a little customization to have the shopping cart have your header on the top as well. You can go and search for paypal developers and there's all sorts of good stuff on it.

I would use a paypal button too if you are just selling one or two things, but for a larger store I would recommend checking out oscommerce, it's free.
For just one 1 book or 2 stuff then i say Paypal is the best stuff there is. I will give away free shops with hosting in the near future i keep you posted.
You sholud consider http://www.Clickbank.com. Using them you can get some affiliates to sell your stuff also.
