How to create a simple block module in drupal 6

    plz give me an example for "creating a simple block module in drupal 6" .

    am tried it many time but its not working properly,:confused:
    if it working on module section then its not working in block section.
    i need it work the both section.
    so plz help me as soon as possible.
    and plz give me an example to create a simple block module in drupal 6, it will better for me...

    Hi, I'm not entirely sure if what you want is to create a custom block or create a custom module that creates a block.

    In the first case you go to admin/site building/blocks and choose the ADD Block option.
