How to create a real good link building campaign ?

    Hello,

    I have launched my site: Free Software Downloads Archive 3 months ago. Maybe you can take a short look to tell me your opinion.

    I tried my best to find links for my site: I submitted to free directories, to paid ones (not many), I wrote an article and a press release, I asked some people to put links to me, ...

    During the last 6 weeks I had big fluctuations in SERPS (from 600 visitors/day to 100, then again to 400, then 200, ...). Some people think that these fluctuations are from google update comming soon.

    I think I don't have enough good links. I know there are some tips in this forums, I tried them, but they won't provide good quality links. Maybe they can generate some traffic and a little PR, but not too much.

    How can I can real good links on related sites? I contacted many sites and they didn't bother to answer. I even offered money to display some links. Is there a way I can approach the link building campaign so I can get some real good links?

    I am not a wiz at link building. But I have tried a few of the ones provided here in DP and they have helped.

    1. Article writing is good, dont restrict yourself to just one article and dont submit same article to multiple directories.Articlesbase is a great directory as it publishes the articles in other languages as well.

    2. Squidoo and Stumble have been great too

    3. I tried Delicious, but it wasnt very useful for me, but may be it will give better results for you

    Articles are the best

    You will have succes at linkexchange when you have PR and ofer a high similar PR to those ascked

    Try buying links from the Buy/Sell section at DP

    Links from articles usually don't have any PR, so why is this is good technique?
    Can you please tell me what is DP?

    DP = digital point!! there are loads of threads on link building. I find submitting to quality directories works well. (these are usually paid ones)

    Hello,

    Everyone says I should buy quality links on trusted site. I tried a few but no luck. I think you saw my site, so can you please give me a short example of a site where can I buy some links?
