    Hello,

The best easy steps as follows ( I am using it right now too )
    1) Install squid , ( yum -y install squid)
    2) download http://downloads.sherin.co.in/squid.conf to /etc/squid.conf

Now start squid service. you can change the post by editing the above conf file.
