How to create a file name for your Blog pages

When I create a new page or blog post, is there a way to create a file name for your blog pages? Instead of the typical url for each page, like /?p=52 is there a way to create a file name.. like: www.blog.com/info.htm?

Yes. You can customize the URL structure under Permalinks in the WordPress admin panel.

If you go into settings and then choose permalinks in your wordpress dashboard.

choose custom structure and type this in:

/%postname%/

that should work.

rather than making them directory-like url, you can also put either htm or html at the end pf the permalinks.

example: /%year%/%month%/%postname%.html

Very useful for SERPS and SEO.
