There is a phpLD-like product called phpLD News. I have used it in the past and it is quite good.

In my own experience, directories don't need that much space so 1GB would do; bandwidth obviously depends on the amount of traffic you are getting. IMO 20GB of bandwidth per month would be enough for an average directory.

Yes. You will need quite a bit of space if you plan on permanently keeping all the feeds/stories that get imported every day. Depending on the topic of your site, you could be importing 100 or more stories every day. And if the topic is quite broad you could be importing much more than that daily. You will exceed your limit on database space very quickly on most web hosts.

The space will just be MySQL storage. Not a lot really.

You can also find mods for phpld and esyndicat and your visitors can submit RSS feeds along with URL.

So u mean to say if i buy phpld license ... all will be done ... i can also get skins and mods along with it right

BTW which is better phpld or esyndicat as both are paid license

    with respect to

    1) Cool and attractive skins
    2) 24x7 Support
    3) Modifications of all types
    4) Easy to use
    5) Best value price

** I know phpld is much more cheaper than esyndicat but need to know whats the best

The advantage of phpld is there's lots of readily available mods and people here who can create unique ones for you.

I recently had the mod you are looking for custom built for my blog directory, and also it crawled all the links already listed and added the feed url to those.

@ web-fanatic I don't understand how you've got 3 green blobs unless it's from more forgiving people than me who reciprocate your reps such as the one you gave me:

Great Repped ya Merry Christmas and New Year! Spread Greens ~ web-fanatic

Please don't feed on useful posts with your unhelpful replies or you might start receiving the wrong sort of rep.

Actually esyndicat is packed with features and has loads of plugins. I don't think they make you pay an extra $10 for support either.

    Edit -

And yeah Syted, I was kind enough to rep web-fanatic back, seems many were. He's sent me two lately. LOL.

Doesn't esyndicat also have a plug in for rss feeds - I think I saw it on ebjuris - it has been a while since I was looking at scripts so I could be off on this one. Here is one of their details pages

    Is that what your meaning?
