How to count hits received publicly in wp?

    do we have any plugin that shows the hits received publicly for example i saw a blog umang2007.wordpress.com ,it said 3k+ hits received, how can i get the same thing in my blog??:confused:

    Do you have access of installing a plugin on your blog? Counterize II allows you to display the number of hits and unique visitors to public by calling a function in the footer or the sidebar.

    wordpress.com has a stats widget that he's using...u can install sidebar widgets plugin in wordpress (your theme should be widgetable) and there r lot of widgets like stats widget that we can arrange in sidebar according to our use...
