Where in my dashboard would I go to correct a misspelled word of "Marraige" to "Marriage"? To understand:danscartoons.com/category/marriage-counsel. Sorry, this forum doesn't allow me to make hyperlinks - please add "www" in front. Then as you scroll down page, note each image has a hyperlink that takes visitors to a gallery page. Wonder where in my settings I navigate to correct this misspelled word? Thank you!
Looks like a typo in the post or page title, though it depends on how the catalog is created. If the cartoon item number is added onto the end of a category name to create an automatic title, you'd fix it at the source (the category name) rather than on each post, for example.
Let's see....so I go into my dashboard, then APPEARANCE>MENU? Wait: I just logged into APPEARANCE>MENU and down to that specific page and the actualspelling is proper in there.....(i.e. "Marriage")....so wonder where else I'd navigate to edit that (???)
It depends on how that particular part of the page is generated - which could be from almost anywhere (especially in a custom theme). Looking at the page source (HTML), the misspelled title matches the name of the graphic itself, minus the size addition for the thumbnail (danscartoons.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Marraige-Counsel-Divorce-Cartoon-06-150x150.gif). Perhaps that hyperlink is taken from the image name? If so, you'll have to change the image name throughout, which could be a bit of a cow, depending on exactly how the theme manages it. Hopefully you can just change the image "name" in the media library and see if that does it.
