if ur content is orignal...its already copyrighted...u had to put "Copyright 2008, YOUR SITE. All Rights Reserved." but its not a rule anymore according to the USA copyright rules...

if ur content is orignal...and someone else steals it u can sue them...

Disabling right-click is a bad idea. Not only is it ineffective at preventing copying, it's very inconvenient to users. Most browsers offer a context menu on right click that is very handy for users - especially those with large displays - because it eliminates the need to mouse all the way across the screen to get to the menu bar.

Register your content with the copyright office in order to increase your leverage in protecting your content. Registration gives you certain presumptions of ownership and statutory damages up to $150,000 for bad faith infringement. It will also help you with service providers web hosts, etc if you seek to have the content removed from their service (ie facebook, twitter, blogger, etc).

Someone Stole My Web Content! Is This Copyright Infringement? Good luck.

As mentioned before, copyright is automatic in many countries including the USA. There are some steps you can take that would strengthen your legal claim if you were in court over it. But that isn't going to happen anyway. Other than a DMCA takedown request, it would almost never be worth the effort. You are better off not worrying about this stuff. Just slap the "Copyright â“’ 2009, www .website. com, All Rights Reserved." Like campolar said and forget about it. Keep moving forward.
