how to copy the text in an image?

    i want to copy text from an image..
    i tried one note.. it doesnt work well..
    is there any other s/w that can do the job?

    You have scanner, You can scan it as character recognition from image contains text

    You can also open image in Photoshop and copy the area and paste it.

    Using photoshop on a jpg will result in you having whatever background it has as well. You can work around this by deleting the background though. An optical recognition reader might be the best way if there is a lot of text.

    yah you can just simply use OCR Software for that... You could find lots of free OCR software using google
