Why not make your own site instead of stealing other peoples hard work?

Careful. There will definitely be copyright legal issues.

It is ok to use someone's website for inspiration and benchmarking but down right copying will create copyright legal issues.

    We would not recommend it.

Not just a thief, the mere mention of "animated intro" sets my usability, accessibility and functionality common-sense tingling.

@Arclite, you're not going to find a lot of developers who are exactly... enthusiastic about what you are asking. Quite the opposite in fact, the responses so far have been exceedingly polite given what it is you've said you are doing!

Animated intro? You mean a splash page? Crap that makes the page take LONGER to load making users navigate away from the site before you're goofy crap even finishes with it's animation?

Not a fan, there's a reason that nonsense has been on every "how not to make a website" list of the past decade and a half.

That Jam3 website being a poster child for everything WRONG with such approaches. If you think that's a good website and something to try and mimic, I'd suggest you sit down and spend some quality time with the WCAG and http://www.nngroup.com/

You want to impress me, get the damned content on the screen FASTER instead of hiding bloated slow scripttardery and inaccessible train-wreck non-semantic pissing on the page any old way code behind some "gee ain't it neat" animooted BS.

No offense, but DAMN! Craptard garbage useless idiotic sites like that are why the web sucks so bad right now, I'm one good "pissed off" away from ripping the cable out of the wall.

this is a 100% manual work (save source, images, scripts.. etc), but beware of copyright laws
