Hi Friends, Plz help me out of this question. In photoshop, i type some text and give it some layers style like: Bevel, Drop shadow. but i want that text layer copy to couples of file as it is. how can i make copy that layer???? regards Rags....
You can drag and drop layers between Photoshop documents. Just open both documents, left click on the layer you want to copy, and drag it into the destination document.
I appreciate ur answer but i don't want to drag n drop layer, i know this very well. i want to make copy command of this layer....
Do you want to copy the layer to ANOTHER document? Or to the current document? If you want to copy the layer to the current document, then do what Neonic said. If not, then we're going to need a translator.
I am having 200 JPEG files but i need one same text on every jpeg file. i have done one but i need to make a copy command and past to remaining 199 jpeg files. that's it. but i don't want to make selection around text. tell me the copy command of preformatted text.
If I understand correctly , you can open ,say, 10 files into photoshop and drag that text into each of these documents. If you want to copy the text into the same document, then you duplicate it or use the shortcut CTRL+J .
So you want to watermark the images? http://www.google.com/search?q=watermark+action+photoshop I don't think any of us really understand what you want to do...
well i got your problem and the solution for it is Automation Script in Photoshop. You have to record a New Action for Paste and Move, and run the Batch Processing on the desired folder. For reference please check http : //graphicssoft.about. com/od/digitalphotography/l/blps_batch.htm
Automation Script is the best solution, if you maje them one by one would take too much time so follow adwall adivce. It's a good one!
its so simple friend just when u make a text give it some effects which u want we can say it is our Layer 1 and now make a new layer add some other text that u want and now right click the Layer 1 click the option Copy layer style and nw click Layer 2 in which u want to paste it so right click the Layer 2 and paste the layer style thanx Shery !
u need 2 right click on the layer and select copy layer style & paste it on the layers in d required documents.
Let me give my idea use it if its helpful. You want to make the effect-watermark right? Create the effect watermark and hide the background of the water marked text. Select whole document (Ctr+A) Select copy merged (Ctr+Shift+C) Past it on the JPEG what you want. You can make this repetitive work as Action as one of dp friend explained above. I hope you will find it useful. email me or add me to IM if you need live help.
CTRL+J for duplicating, then drag it to your other document You could also use a watermarking program!
all u need to do is just in 3 steps 1. press record button by opening actions window 2. do what u want to do, when it done press the stop button in actions window 3. open ur new document and press play button, this is will repeat your action before, so.. just play and save ur document
