    Hello,
(hope this is the right place to post this)

I want to create a .pdf file from my microsoft word document.
I don't want to spend any money on it as i don't have any.

so, Can anyone help me out with this? Suggest me some method or software that can convert it.

    Thanks

    Hi mate,

    search for pdf995

The software is free, you have to wait a few seconds with the free version until a few of their own ads did open but I found that is no problem.

It installs a virtual printer on your Pc.

You open your word document, choose print, select the printer (depending on system and software it shows to select "pic printer" or "print995"), print and you are done. :)

The site shows 2 links one for printer driver and second one for the converter.
I will have to download both of them?

    http://www.fastpdf.com/

    http://www.doc2pdf.net/

Above are free online conversion tools. No download required.

You can download and use Openoffice . Its like MS office.
Has word processor like MS word, spread sheet manager like Excel and so on...

You can convert a doc to pdf with a single click.

The OpenOffice software contains an excellent PDF creator that will do your wordDoc fine. The program is free from http://www.openoffice.org

I have found the entire Open Office suite easier to use than MS Word so you might want to give it a try for way more than just a PDF maker. :D

I have MS Office installed on my work PC. I have large slideshows that always make the application crash when converting to pdf with with native Adobe SW.

When I import those same MS powerpoint slides into openoffice, they 1. import perfectly, they 2. convert perfectly to a small-size pdf and they 3. do that much faster than with the native MS-Adobe apps, without crashing.

    Surprising!

When I used it, pdf995 didn't parse links.

    OpenOffice is better.

In my opinion PrimoPDF is the best it has many options for converting your document into a PDF :]

Just look on any of the biggest software sites and you'll see it normally has the most downloads for a PDF converter.

Guys, the best software is MS Office itself! The recent service pack for Microsoft Office 2007 that came out a couple of months ago actually includes the ability to print a file as pdf. For example, you can easily convert your word doucement by going to print and selecting the option to print as pdf
