How to convert videos?

How to convert low quality videos in to high quality videos? I downloaded a low quality (resolution) video from youtube. I want to increase its resolution. Also tell me how to edit youtube videos?

low quality to high quality isnt actually possible coz how can any software fix the quality

 

quality means, screen resolution to view on full screen.

 

You can try the keepvid.com, which you have two options here:

1) Download the low quality video/music clips in .flv form, or
2) Choose the high quality .mp4!

firefox has a plugin to download from youtube and convert the video to mp4 or mpeg for burning to dvd.

 

I dont want to burn videos. I just want to increase its bitrate, framerate, resolution etc

 

I'm afraid that is not possible. You can convert it from one format to another.
The quality will not increase. It will either remain as such or decrease.
You can convert a high quality vid to a low quality one but the vice versa is not possible.
