how to convert psd to valid xhtml

    You need to be looking at something called "slicing". Photoshop will do all of the work for you :) Sorry I can't post a link yet because I don't have enough posts.

    Hello,

    the easy way is to use dreamweaver for it. U can look on google what for codes are xhtml and that's it. No to much work.

    Exporting PSD slices to Dreamweaver usually create non-compliant codes. The best way to really do it is to do it manually. If you don't know xhtml and css, then you can hire a freelancer or avail of the numerous services online.

    You literally have to do it manually, i dont even use the slice tool in Photoshop. I use the selection tool and save the crop. You will need to write the code manually so get your xhtml and css down and take it from there. No shortcut methods will be anywhere near as good as writing from scratch.

    You have to either slice or crop individual parts.
    Then code the XHTML and style away.

    I would never recommend any one to use the Photoshop slice tool to create a website. The resulted pages usually end up with messy HTML markup and large image files (large image files with repeated content etc). Like the others said, it's best to do it manually.
