How to convert large jpg>PDF to over multiple pages with small margins? I need to create PDFs for my website from oversize JPGs, where the images are both wider and longer than standard paper sizes, for my visitor's convenience. Can this be done?
http://download.cnet.com/JPG-to-PDF-Converter/3000-10743_4-10921191.html That program is a basic .JPG to .PDF converter software. If the images are larger than a regular sheet, it should reduce them to fit.
That's the problem, I DON'T want to reduce to fit. I want a whole big spread! I have several images I need to do this with, but as an example, one of them is 22.75" x 64.75" - it needs to print to full size.
In my eyes, if you don't want to resize it, then there is nothing to be done. but good luck with it anyways..
You do not need a 3rd party software if you have acrobat professional. (This part various depending which version you have... Mine is 9 but the previous versions have this function too) You basically go under FILE > COMBINE > MERGE FILES INTO A SINGLE PDF A new window will come up that allows you to drag whatever file you need in there. It will accept JPEG. Press Next > Next > Save... basically you just made a binder with all the files your dragged in that window into ONE PDF. I assume you want to get these into PDFs so you can send it off to print, so it's actually good that this function keeps everything together for you. If you need things to be in a specific order, I suggest either renaming them ahead of time or manually adjust the order at the window where you drag the files. In the case that you DON'T want to have everything in a single PDF, you can open the COMBINED PDF and apply the following to extract everything into single PDFs again: - Goto DOCUMENT > EXTRACT PAGES > - Fill in From page 1 to Page (your last page number) - Make sure "Extract Pages As Seperate Files" is checked - Click OK Hope this helps you.
