Does anyone who convert their facebook fans into real customers in their ecommerce site successful?According to our SEO client's experience, only game related or losing money cheap stuff can sells by facebook traffic.Compared with other internet marketing ways as PPC or SEO.., facebook is not easy to convert to real ecommerce sales. Some said facebook is the place to promote brand or keep connections.I think an ebook about this will be popular. Is there any guide to convert fans into ecommerce sales?
I read an article on How to Convert Facebook Fans Into Paying Customers by Chris De Leon on the website socialmediatoday.com. I'd paste the link but I'm still too newbie to post links. :-/ His points were: 1) Offer discounts and promos 2) Limited time offers 3) Hold a free webinar 4) Capture email addresses I've seen these on marketing guru Stephen Pierce's FB page (I signed up for his mailing list on his page in exchange for a free report). I believe this can be expanded on and I would appreciate a well written ebook on the topic.

Also totally agree. You also can make some "like" contests at your page in order to keep their attention to your page for a long time.
It is important to keep your customers loyal. By posting updates and deals that your company is offering your customers will be more likely to have you on their mind, and hopefully recommend you to their friends.
keeping customers loyal is not as easy as said. there are rules to follow when posting on your fanpage, for instance, its better to communicate to fans rather to promote your product. otherwise it may look like spam, end up fans decide to unlike. also, fans likes viral posts, and it is proven to better create engagements with fans. once you have the engagement, its easier to attract new potential fans, knowing the viral effect 'facebook wall' offers. out of 10 posts, its better to have around 1 to 2 posts promoting your business, while the rest is best to maintain the engagement. you can also create a conversation with fans on answering the topic, yup its not easy to turn every fans to your customer, and i believe @Cybria pointed the right strategy.
