This is largely true, of course.

However so many things have been "normal" that are horrendous, but then people evolve. The horror of female circumcision is one such semi-normal thing in various Muslim areas, despite the claims idiots make about how they are advancing with science, etc.

I guess what I mean to say is I just wish that someone could show them it isn't right, that there is a better way - that butchering a bub's genitals should be punished by death, not common place.

"Fear of Islam" is called Islamophobia, and its listed as a hate crime.

 

Personally I'm not afraid of Islam, but it does disgust me.

That said, I don't think being afraid of something that rapes kids, beats women, stones people to death and has nutjobs blowing themselves up is a "hate crime".
