How to contact high PR sites for link exchange?

I have a celebrity gossip wp blog(do follow),now in PR0. Im interested in link exchange with high PR sites,but I contacted while sending mails to many,nobody responded! No luck

I sent mail like this.

I have a Celebrity gossip blog,with good traffic,and it is daily updated,and its a Dofollow website.

And I have visited your website,I am interested in a Link exchange with your website,If you are interested kindly let me know.

I think you must gain PR first...
Because there is no point to make a link from PR0..
maybe you must SEO it first so you gain PR 1,
after you get it,include that your PR is 1 in your letter.

post a topic in the link exchange forums at dp, you will get many good offers there.

 

I get emails like this all the time. They go straight to the bin because I have better things to do with my time. This is why you got zero replies.

Forget high PageRank sites, and switch your focus to context. You'll find it much much easier to links back to your site, have those links convey genuine SEO benefit, and can forget about PageRank. Even better - you can use internal contextual linking on your own site.

Also - take a look at my signature. There are plenty of link-building ideas on the page it links to. And finally, here are more ways to get links back to your site.

 

Why not take the time to visit do-follow sites like yours and makes some good, high quality comments. Over time, you will have built links naturally to your site. As stated above, most site owners ignore those kind of requests. I know I do.

Im doing commenting in the do follow blogs, ActuallyI have seen all most all high PR blogs are exchanged their links and growing,So thought of asking them,.But don't know why they will not accept newbies like me!

 

I think you should personalize your request and offer, depending on what site you contact. You might also want to offer them more than one link in return. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense for a high PR site to exchange with a PR0 site. But if you give them 5 links instead of one, for instance, it could be worth it for them!

 

Before you hit someone up for a link, get to know them first. Connect with them, establish yourself as a commenter on their blog or a contributor to their website, knowledgeable friend on twitter, etc
