How to confirm about the portfolio of a designer?

    I have some desgn needs, so I asked in the market place. Now in all the PMS, as portfolio, everyone has added link to a lot of sites. How can I confirm these are actually the designers portfolio, and not some random links?

    Just send a email to the site owner and ask :)

    Check the whois database of the site. Contact the owner and tell him/her why you are contacting him/her.
