how to configure sendmail to work under Windows

    Hello

    I am using Apache 2 on a Windows XP machine
    and I am running php5 on top of it
    I am struggling in my attempt to get sendmail to work

    Can anyone redirect me to instructions on how to setup the SMTP
    server for Windows and to get it to work with Apache?

    You can use mail enable free edition to setup mail server. config is simple and have many facilities. there are many other free to use mail servers for windows but ME is simple one to manage and configure.
