yeah they charge a lot of money for the same info at places like geeksquad and firedog now you guys have it for free
I dont think a complete format is a must. Im a computer tech at Computers services and ink here in my town. The basic virus like spyware and malware can all easily be deleted with certain programs and manual deletion. The viruses which i like to call PAINS! like Vundo and vundo varients i have successfully deleted but sometimes a format is best just to make sure the virus is gone.
good advice but only do this when you can't get rid of the virus which are rare but usually people get worms!
I feel a lot better now about using my computer. I have all but two of those programs going already! I recommend every read the above article!
Your tutorials are very usefull, but for me, if i trully want to get rid of viruses and other think like that ... I use low-level format . Dont judge me please.
well, most of those suggestions are good but Zone Alarm has become a resource hogger now, so wouldn`t recommend it to anyone!!
You've gotta reformat it and load the O.S. again. If you have a brand name computer like Dell or HP, it's even easier. All you have to do is just use the backup CDs that come with the systems.
Thanks for the informative article, I wish I had so many applications installed on my PC. But by th way, installing so many applications will have an effect of slowing down my PC, isn't it ?
I would just suggest that....Precaution is the best cure... Do not download programs from anywhere and everywhere ! Regards, RightMan
You really pointed out how to put an end to those damn Malwares. Nice article Dude. I also heard that there's a also a manual removal of a virus on a computer. I wish that you have some sites that give that kind of guides. But there's a site that i have been subscribed to (it's for free) It's http://www.systemsecurityinstitute.org. I subscribe to their weekly news letter they provide me updates about the latest malware that is really dangerous to your computer privacy and guides on how to manually remove a Malware from a computer. But still I'm open for more info. So thanks dude again nice article.
