How to commissions work with Pre-Order products?

There's a DVD box set that is being released in August but is available for pre-order right now on Amazon.

Does Amazon still pay commissions on pre-orders? I guess I would have to wait for it to actually ship to get the commission?

Yup. You have to wait and hope the order doesn't get cancelled 'cause the buyer found it at Walmart.
