I have good information on a particular health niche. It has to do with Wet Macular Degeneration. however, I am not getting decent traffic from my ezine articles. They have been viewed, and republished, but I am getting only a few hits a week. Should i write articles with the keywords i found with 200-400 monthly searches or should I look for something a bit larger (still less then tens of thousands) Thanks in advance.
Of course, go for the better, more often used keywords but try as well to make "eye-catching" titles. Write for the human audience with search engines in mind and everything will be all right !
You can overcome this thing with SerpAnalytics, it is really great for this kind of stuff. Not only this, it would work for Adwords marketing also giving you useful information about competition, CPC and lot more. I love its Position Tracking feature, it is really awesome, it covers: * Sites monitor * Keywords monitor * Position dynamics * Daily email reports Track sites positions in Google. View position dynamics graphs. Use suggestion tool to track most profitable keywords for the site.
EZA is getting outdated. I would suggest posting the best articles on your blogs and leaving an occasional one for the article directories. And yes, 500 is a little low, so you can target better keywords, especially if your site is now reasonably well established in your niche.
