    Hello Guys,
I'm interested in new ways of adding backlinks aside from the traditionally blog commenting, LE, linkwheels and etc.
    Any new way ?

    Thanks.

LE : my bad, i was referring on how to increase the popularity and backlinks since with the new Google update everything was downsized.

You ask how to combat penguin's outcome and then you want to increase backlinks !!! Make up your mind. It's one or the other, but not both...

You might want to look into directory submissions (paid ones are sometimes better). As long as you aren't building tons of low quality back links (i.e. unrelated websites, etc.) you should be good over time.

Just make your works quality, make an article that are unique and original and more quality backlinks on high PR and related sites.

If you want to avoid being screwed by Penguin then ignore rubbish advice like "directories" and all that 10-15 year old trash. Read Danny Sullivan's blog posts (Search Engine Land) on Penguin. He won't spoon feed you, but help you understand what to avoid, what Penguin (and Panda, for that matter) are designed to combat. SEOmoz is a good place for learning techniques (not just their main blog, but also YOUmoz has some good case studies).

Obviously, this requires effort, but genuine effort (not spam effort) is what pays well in the end (remember - all these big sites had to come from somewhere).
