How to close a spam group in order to advertise on fb

    Hi,
I have just started up a business Facebook account linked to my personal account. I would really like to advertise my business but am unable to because an advertising group have linked themselves to my account without my permission. I am unable to close this group and therefore Facebook won't progress with my own advertising.
I have attempted to contact Facebook though the notifications section, however I have had no reply. Does anyone know what avenue I should go down to get Facebook to close this group so that I can start with my business marketing? Thanks

    Sounds fishy.
The "business facebook account" is where a business pretends to be a person? rather than being a page?
If so, it's my understanding you can convert it to a page. I've never done it but it's an option.

Did you give out the username and password for the second account to anyone?
    Can you still log in?
If so, change the password and go through the app persmissions and remove everything and hopefully that will remove the hold that the "advertising group" have.

Thanks to both your replies. The advertising group connected to my personal page about 2 years ago. They appear in the left hand column with the 'groups'', similar to my now business page. I have tried re-setting my password etc but they are still there! I just can't seem to get rid of them. Sorry I'm not very savvy when it comes to IT, therefore can't give too many more details. I have decided to close my personal account and link my business page to new one. I have been considering this for a while but really appreciate all your help.

Closing your personal account isn't going to solve the problem. PM me the business page or post an image of how the page looks and mark where this advertising crowd is. Sounds really odd.
