I suggest to go for keywords which are low competitive or no competition at all in the first place but make sure they are related to u r content and serve u r purpose which means though u select keywords with low competition make sure that they are inserted into u r content and in the title of u r webpage

    My keyword strategy always follows:
    - 20% high competition keyword
    - 80% low competition keyword

This allows us to get more traffic from low competition keyword to our new site while building ranking slowly for high competition keywords.

Just replace the keywords with new set after reaching first spot in your campaign where you just need to add minimal campaign value to first spot keywords to retain the spot.

IMO do not choose high competitive keywords for short term goal. Choose keywords based on KEI.

    Good day,

For me, as a motivation and having a feeling of being 1st rank in SE; i'll go for low competition and high demand keyword. take tiny step first, after doing this, it is just matter of repetition and mass action for higher competition keyword.
