Or, which domain register do you think is the best? I'm consider registering a domain. I'm very new for this, there are so many domain registers out there, can someone tell me how to choose? Is the location have something to do with it, for example, I'm in China? What make difference between a cheaper domain and a relative expensive domain? I'm interesting in a .net, .info or .com. And I notice that there is a .ws, have anyone of you used the .ws domain? Thanks.
Godaddy.com is a good one. And it's cheap. I'm a reseller of godaddy, you can get even cheaper domains: .net $5.95 .info $4.75 .com $7.85
i didnt really shop around for a registra, i heard a lot of positive stuff about godaddy so went with them, they also offer a lot of special offers and discounts from time to time.
I went with GoDaddy as well but based upon their management tools, not necessarily their price. I tried a few others previously in the past and when compared with GoDaddy I found it easier to manage my domain settings with them.
Yeah I have consolidated to godaddy and have no issues. it is very easy for me to manage my domains. I think the management tools are definately well done. Also it is nice that with the right set up you can get a 1 year .com for $5.19. At least you could as of a few days ago.
I pay $6.85 for .com names, 4.99 for .net, and $1.99 for .info. I have a wholesale account at Moniker with about 200 names in that account alone. I think namecheap and registerfly are both better than godaddy.
Yes, they should be available worldwide I'm using NameCheap for all my domains and find their control panel very easy to use. Price is similar to GoDaddy.
I believe GoDaddy is available to anyone who can pay via a major credit/debit card or PayPal. I'm not 100% certain but I think there may even be an option to post them a cheque, but it would probably have to be drawn in USD.
Well how do I get a .com domain for US$5.19 a year. I can find the cheapest is the http://www.geek-domains.com/, it's US$7.85 a year. And I'm in china. It seems the godaddy.con and geek-domain.com have some problem to show up in my browser. The Namecheap.com is OK, though. What if the pages of the websites I can't load in my browser, but I still want to register with them? Any other methods? Thanks.
