How to check which web-hosting service a website is hosted on?

    Hi all,

    Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

    How can I check what web-hosting service a website is hosted on?

    I know how to check the domain registrar using whois, but what about the webhosting the domain is hosted on?

    Please advise,

    Is a good start, it's a bit unreliable sometimes though.

    Do a whois lookup and the nameservers are commonly a big clue to who hosts a website.
