How to Check Website Postion ( not Keyword ranking)

Hi all, can anybody will let me know how can I check my website over all position in the world, I don't want to check it through my keywords.

I want to see where my website lies as far as visitors and traffic is concern and who are my competitors and their position.

e.g... For Search Engine.. Google is on Top. I have travel site.

Alexa ranking is one way to go (http://www.alexa.com/)
All though their ranking data is sometimes inconclusive.

 

For measuring visitors and traffic, you can use site like quantcast and compete. To find who are competitors and their position use tool like Market Samurai, Semrush.com, KeywordCompetitor.com etc.

 

Install Alexa Rating and live Page Rank add-ons to your Firefox browser. It's easier.

 

Try to check it on Google webmaster tools.

 

Alexa rank is there based on traffic. Thats your site's position based on traffic.

 

Where is the option at Google Webmaster Tool, please let me know.

 

search in google with keyword ...
with alexa.com, you can look what your'e position ...
I think check position with keyword in search engine, it very easy because you will know what do you work with seo success..
