How to Check Traffic to Site ?

    Hi,

    I want to check traffic stats for my site sharetradingbusiness.com how can i check them. How can i know how many visitors i m getting daily.

    If you have hosting with Cpanel you will have probably Awstats, see Cpanel > Logs > Awstats. Awstats is good and gives daily visitors stats and referers.
    If not, check Cpanel for Webalizer.
    Or for future stats - you can install Google Analytics.

    Awstat is the best though... if you have cpanel it's already there anyway so no hassle in installing anything. Just activate it and that's it.

    Use either Google Analytics or SiteMeter for most accurate traffic analysis. Recently Yahoo has entered this space but they are still on beta with selected customers. If you don't have the tracking code installed, try compete.com for estimated traffic figures.

    AWStat, Webalizer etc shows more traffic and hence not very reliable. Also, sometimes they slows down the server when logs pile up. It's very difficult to get the real picture with them as they count bot/spider traffic as well as pings on top of human visits
